"What he brought in our lives was groundbreaking and utterly shocking. His creations, his genius, his blood went directly into his 'art'. Sekrelus revealed what felt like everything of what we call life. He redifined the impossible and created the unimaginable. Our wonders of today are his doing."

Adamantis Core:It's a Problem"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S NOT DONE YET!! YOU'VE BEEN MAKING PLANS FOR THIS PROJECT LONG BEFORE WE GAVE YOU THE OK TO START!!!" Alicia screamed with anger and detest in her voice. "LISTEN, this project needs more than just three years to finish! We're trying our very best to turn dark matter into a fuel source! It's ALOT more complicated than it is on paper COMMANDER!" "EXCUSE ME IF I'M THE ONLY ONE THAT BELIEVES THE SECTION ONE IMPACT COULD HAVE HUGE CONSEQUENCES IF WE STAY HERE ON EARTH!" "Commander we understand your concern and trust me, it has been WELL NOTED ALREADY. YOU THINK WE JUST WANT OUR OWN SPECIES TO FIND OUT WHATAdamantis Core:It's a Problem

Adamantis Core:CourageToMoveOnGillick waited with uneasiness. It had been an hour and no contact had been established yet to discuss about what he assumed was a meteor. He had in that time revealed more secrets about humanity to the 10 selectees. Including the incident of the meteor strike that happened not too long ago. Finally his HUD recieved the message. He would leave again and be breifed. As he expected, Gillick rushed to Command. "Commander" He said. Gillick saluted and was put at ease. "Still here Matt?" Adamantis Core: The BafflingEveryone stopped what there were doing. The PA pinged in again. "Impact in 7 minutes. I repeat, 7 minutes." Everyone stared at the projection table. It showed the comet was getting closer and closer to earth. Mars failed and earth will recieve the results of that failure. No one spoke, they only stared helpless at the impending disaster. Some cried knowing that the safe havens were shut and the ones stuck on the surface were destined to die. Gillick was grieve striken. There was a total of 11,564 lives trapped on the surface compared to the billions of lives in the safe havens. If the gates were still open, even more would die. HeAdamantis Core: The Baffling

[link] this convinced me to make Vulrans a race and a primitive one at that (they formed a relationship with Derillians to make ships for them)
of course i imagined the machines as organized and the Hounds as stratigic attackers
Vulrans lack the tech (or the thumbs) to build ships so Derillians granted them interplanetary starships in exchange for clearing terrain and establishing new plants on other worlds and guarding said facilities with their beastly awesomness
